Good morning,
Times have become extremely challenging for agriculture with increasing prices, societal demands, the impacts of climate change, and growing concerns about food security. While countries around the globe might face similar challenges and share common climate and sustainability goals, countries’ pathways to those goals might differ. The role of biotechnology in agricultural production continues to be intensely debated around the world. How can it help improve food security? How can it help nations meet their climate commitments? How can it be used to adapt agriculture to climate change or make agriculture more sustainable? We look forward to discussing this with you.
The Office of Agricultural Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin cordially invites you to take part in the webinar “Greening Agriculture through Innovation” on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 14:30 CEST (duration approx. 90 minutes).
